Between Confident and Humble? (1)

Read: Numbers 12: 3; Psalm 106: 32-33; Exodus 33: 11; Numbers 20: 1-13

Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.
Numbers 12: 3

By the waters of Meribah they angered the Lord, and trouble come to Moses because of them; for they rebelled against the Spirit of God. and rash words came form Mouses' lips. Psalm 106: 32-33

Yesterday, my spiritual son told me; "You are not humble...., you have to work in Nane Nane church with this Pastor", I was very upset for his words. Then I went to my God for kneeling and praying, then he told me; "You have a lot of confidence, so that people can't see you with humble person who you are in Christ. It is much important than outside humble, but their hearts are pride." I believe that we can be humble and confident person. I am going to approve with Scripture Verses.

Today, I use Moses as an example: he is very humble in this earth, and see God face to face, but he was still human being, he lost his temper in Numbers 20: 1-13 written, he spoke a rush word, forgot to obey God in Meribah (quarreling). God told Moses; "take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. (V7)" But Moses said to Israelites, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?" Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. (V10-11)

Then God said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them. (punishment for Moses and Aaron)" God is fair, justice and righteous for all his children.

Tomorrow will talk about confidence in Christ who we are. Today we see very humble and holy man, Moses who lost his temper and control his lips with rashed words. But God still honor his servant Moses who has served God faithfully. (Numbers 12: 7-8) God said, "with him (Moses, I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. (12: 7-8) and in Exodus 33:11 said,"The Lord would speak to Moses face to face as a man speaks with his friend. (John 15: 14-15)

Therefore, we are human beings, we can very humble, so holy as God's friends. But we are not perfect, indeeds, we need Jesus every day, every hour, every minute and every second. No one can judge others, he or she is humble or not, we are not God. Even Moses failed with God's assignment. We are not better than Moses. We need to be careful what we speak, let Holy Spirit corrects others, not us. Let God does his works, not our rush words for condemnation others.

Holy Spirit does correct Christians, the judgements are not us. If you are not one of prophets, you will not judge. and you allow Holy Spirit who does his job well, our jobs are praying for others, obedience  and trust in Him.
