David in his Psalms - Psalm 7 (A)

Read: Psalm 7; 1 Samuel 24: 9, 1-12; Matthew 6: 34

O Lord my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands-
Psalm 7: 3

Yesterday, I got many visitor from Bishop, Pastor to brother, sister and Forest children. God is good all time, so that I could minister to people needs. then I have had many spiritual children all the world. I thank to Lord who has given me all of them.

Today, we will read Psalm 7, there are 17 verses, it will take a long time to put into order for those principles. I have no idea what can I write today? But the Holy Spirit will be my helper or my Bible teacher for all insights. I just thank to Him without understanding.

In 1 Samuel 24: 9 said, "He (David) said to Saul, "Why do you listen when men say, 'David is bent on harming you?' " You turn back to Psalm 7 explained Sovereign of David, which he sang to the Lord, concerning Cush, a Benjamite. (king Saul) and he also introduced slanderous Cush (Psalm 7: 3, 8) correspond to 1 Samuel 24: 1-12 which told David spares king Saul's life. Verse 6-7 said, He (David) said to his men, "The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord's anointed, or lift my hand against him; for he is the anointed of the Lord. (1 Samuel 10: 1, 6-7, 9-11)" With these words David rebuked his men and did not allow them to attack Saul. And Saul left the cave and went his way.

There are many principles, I have no figure out all, but I do the parts for today, tomorrow will be worried himself. (Matthew 6: 34) Those principles write in below:

(1) David takes refuge in God and his foes tear and
rip him, no one rescue him. (V 1-2)

"O Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me." David takes refuge in God who will save and deliver him from those who pursue him, they will tear him like a lion and the rip him, no men will rescue him, but God is his refuge in the cave of Adullam.

(2) David, exam himself (V 3-4)

"O Lord my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands- if I had done evil to him (Saul) who is at peace with me (David) or without cause have robbed my foe-" David exam himself what he has don in guilt or innocent with king Saul, God has proved David right and just with Saul's evil who had pursued him. Sometime, we need to exam ourselves, have we done wrong or right? So that we know that it is not our fault, but theirs.

(3) David's life was between dead and live. (V 5)

"then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust." David lived in the cave that time, he slept on the floor in the dust. His life was dead or live. His enemy pursued and overtake him and trample his life to the ground and his glory fell on the ground. David felt hopeless next time. but God does listen his negative and complaint.

(4) Arise God's judgement. (V 6)

"Arise, O Lord, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice." David knew that God will rise up and judge his enemies who came against him, but God is just, righteous and fair to David, and then to us too.

Are you blessed by Psalm 7: 1-6 today? I am so blessed by Him. Welcome you again, I am here to wait for you tomorrow!

God is your refuge. Do you seek Jesus and find His refuge in your life?
