David in his Psalms - Psalm 7 (C)

Read: Psalm 7: 12-17

I (David) will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness. and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

Psalm 7: 17

      Yesterday, I finished my Christmas dress with green and pink flowers. I love so much. I did some Power Point for Cell Group training on Saturday, then I must finish today. Tomorrow, I will teach the leaders from six churches at Morogoro Hotel. Now, there are 21 leaders. God will help me to set Africans Send Internationals (ASI) up. It is the vision from God. ASI is a Christian organization which equips African brothers and sisters to go to the end of earth (Acts 1: 8) Praise to the Lord for ASI!

    Today, we are going to finish Psalm 7: 12-17 with two principles to learn as below:

(7) Evil doing? God is ready to act! (V 12-16)

     

       "If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He has prepared his deadly weapons, he makes ready his flaming arrows.He who is pregnant with evil and concerives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made. The troble he causes recoils on himself, his violence comes down to his own heaed."

      God's sword and bow are  ready for judgement. He prepares his weapons and flaming arrows. The evil doers pregnant with evil and sins, and they bring dead of their own pits they have made. Hallelujah! God will judge evil ones in His time, not our time.

(8) Praise God and Sing to Him. (V 17)

       " I (David) will give thanks to the Lord becuase of his righteousness and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High." David had frustration in the beginning, then he praise the Lord the end. He proved everything, he knew that God is in control. Why does he so worry and angry? Praise God is David who has finally made Peace with Him. If we want to have peace, do not envy evil doers! But trust God alone!

God is in control! Praise Him!
