David in his Psalms - Psalm 18 (D)

Read: Psalm 18: 30-36; Habakkuk 3: 19

You (God) broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn. Psalm 18: 36

Yesterday, I did not have any water, my house was terrible dirty. After I went to Morogoro Hotel for swimming, so that I could take a shower and washed my hair well. I have had no water for three days. Last night, sister Tumaini (Hope) took me to go to her aunt's home, we took three buckets of water. Praise the Lord!

This morning, I mopped my house and it is clean now. I can sit down and do my devotion; I also write to you this moment, after that we prepare to go to Mochi and packing my laptop and books. I see you tomorrow in Mochi.

Today, we will look into Psalm 18: 30-36 principles as below:

(10) God Sovereign. (V 20-32)

"As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him; For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with Strength and makes my perfect." God's way is perfect and his Word is flawless; He is a shield (strong towel) for all who take refuge in Him. No God is like our God. He is the Rock, He arms us with Strength and Make us perfect as His way. Our word from our mouth to whom they will praise the Lord as Who He is, and We know who We are in Christ.

(11) God enables David and teach him. (V 33-36)

"He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of Victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn." God makes David's feet like the feet of a deer, I knew the deer can climb the mountain up with the tough road. As Habakkuk 3: 19 said, "The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he (God) enables me to go on the heights." If we want to go to spiritual heights, we have to have feet of the deer, so that we can climb up to the top of mountain and declare His righteousness and justice. God trains our hands for spiritual battle; our arms can bend the bow of bronze. So that we can overcome all trouble. Then God gives us his shield of victory, and His right hand helps and sustains us; God stoops down to make us great. If we are humble in the sight of God, He will left us up from our low position to high one.

He broaden the path beneath us, so that our ankles do not turn. I had been the missionary in Guatemala in Central America for six years. We had to hike to preach the gospel to remote villages. I followed the wrong way, my path was men's path, so my left ankle was twisted very badly, I could turn it, nowadays, my ankles have not problem, because I walk God's path where is broad and free. Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow, we will continue Psalm 18. May God bless you richly!

Go God's path, He will make your path broad and it is freedom over there and there are spiritual height.
