They spread a net for my feet-
I was bowed down in distress.
They dug a pit in my path-
but they have fallen into it themselves. (Selah)
Psalm 57: 6
Yesterday, I went to Hotel Morogoro. I got a room for cell home group training on 18th of December on Saturday in 2010. Then I visited Apostle Joshua and his brother, I also gave my Christmas gift for Apostle Joshua church and family. After that, we prayed together, it was a wonderful time together.
This morning, my Internet ran out of credit, so that I watched Joyce Meyer TV enjoy every day life, they represented God will make a way in Cambodia. I was crying as I watched on my laptop screem. I saw the Cambodian children who are living on trash damp without hope and future. I am the Pastor for Forest Hill children at Disciple Gospel Center. My children love me and help me. Then I also help them too. Today, three of them came and asked me for water. I gave them muddy water and they carried on their heads or hand, they were happy to go home. I am so touched, I want to fund Africans Send Internationals (ASI), I will send out the Africans brothers and sisters to go to the end of earth as Cambodia, Sudan, India and other third world countries. Only we get together to pray to God, so that we can do it together in the Name of Jesus.
Today, we will look into Psalm 57: 5-11 principles for learning for David, as blow:
(4) Exalted God's glory over the earth. (V 5, 11)
"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." We need exalted God who He is and he rules heaven and earth, then his glory be over all the earth. As Isaiah 6: 1-3 said, "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. and they were calling to one another: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." If you go to 2 Chronicles 26: 16-33 told about King Uzziah died, the whole kingdom had lost control of men, God himself rule and seated on a throne, high and exalted. The seraphs were calling to one another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." God has promised the whole earth is full of his glory. In 2004, on October, I have seen his glory at one African church, I saw the whole church was full of golden shinning lights. Then I was terrified, bowed my knees and faced down the floor for awe my Lord who is present now and forever.
(5) David's foes fell into their own pit with their
own net. (V6)
"They spread a net for my feet- I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path- but they have fallen into it themselves." David realized God who had helped him. Even he was bowed down in distress, maybe he was praying to God for help. Then David had seen his foes had fallen into their pit or a net themselves. Praise the Lord! God is able to do exceeding and abundant things!
(6) Awake the dawn with praise to the Lord. (V 7-
10)
"My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples; For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies." I knew that Praising is opened a door for God who will work for my behalf, you too.
What is called the Heart of Worship, Rick Warren wrote the Purpose Driven Life said; "The heart of worship is surrender." (Page 77, the Purpose Driven Life) and I agree with Rick. I checked Strong's word, the Praise is knowing who God is, then we celebrate our God Almighty and exalted on high. Then Worship is like a dog is lacking Master's feet. After I understood Marry used expensive oil to anoint Jesus' feet, her tears went down Jesus' feet, and she dried with her hair, then she kissed his feet without stopping. So that Marry is a true worshiper. There are many of them in this whole earth. Are we one? I hope that Samaritan woman was question on Jesus, are you greater than father Jacob. (John 4: 12) Then Jesus led her to normal water to the Living water (Holy Spirit), in John 4: 24 said, "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." Amen!
We are true worshipers, so that we surrender ALL to him!
