You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my god turns my darkness into light. Psalm 18: 28

Yesterday, God was glorified by the Forest Children. We had the Forest children Christmas Special service at Disciple Gospel Center on 19th of December in 2010 on Sunday. I baptized one child who was named Juliana. We had wonderful time to celebrate Jesus was born!

Today, I hope that the water will come and I can wash clothes by hands. I also need to change money and packing for trip to Moshi, Arusha and Kenya Capital. Pray for my trip!

We will continue to look at Psalm 18: 20-29; there are more principles, we can learn from Scripture Verses today. Those principles are as blow:

(7) God's righteousness. (V 20-24)

"The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me. For have kept the ways of the Lords; I have not done evil by turning from my God. All his laws are before me;I have not turned away from his decrees. I have been blameless before him and have kept myself  from sin. The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight." David examined himself. He had a clean heart and hands in God's sight, he kept God's commands and he was away from sins; he (David) approved his righteousness and blameless before God. I think that I have never  said, "I am blameless or innocent person in His sight." I try to do my best, it sometimes is very hard. And if I see the things wrong, I will be  angry and shouting. but I pray to God for self-control  in a character of Fruit of Spirit. Then I nailed my anger on the cross, then the Holy Spirit led me to forgiveness myself, others or God. I can not do all without God's help.

(8) David kept a way of God. (V 25-28)

"To the faithful you show yourself faithful to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. You, O Lord keep my lamp burning; my god turns my darkness into light."

David had kept his way in which will being pleased God. God is just and righteous, so that they can help us to live in the light of God, not darkness any more. If we are humbe ourselves, we will lift us up by God alone. We need to examine ourselves and see faithful, blameless, pure, humble and we not only produce the fruit of Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23) in our lives, but also develop the gifts of Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11).

(9) David had overcome with God's help. (V 29)

"With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall." David knew the principles was to get God's help. God will enable him to do the power and mighty things. David had God's help, he could advance against a troop (or can run through a barricade); He was with God, he could scale a wall. As soon as David trust God completely, there were no sinful and blame life; successfully for everything, nothing was impossible for him who was with God.

This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but my spirit,' says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 4: 6
