My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.
Proverbs 4: 20
Yesterday, I taught to my friend Hope how to sew the dress. Then I taught English class, and Disciple Gospel Center children came to clean outside the rooms. Today my house boy is called Daniel who is also Masai man. I shall lead Forest Children Sunday service, then I am going to visit Maria who is a older sister of brother Steve and I shall pick Daniel up from the town.
Today we talk more about Father's Heart. I love this topic personally. And I hope that you will restore your love, faith, and relationship with you Heavenly Father.
(9) Guard your heart with Word of God.
In Provers 4: 20-23 said, "My son (or daughter), pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them (words) within those who find them and health to a man's whole body above all else, guard your heart for it is the well spring of life." We need to listen closely to God's word, to act as his command. So we will have health to our whole body, guard our heart, it is wellspring of life. Our hearts are for everything, they are the wellspring (free, refresh) of life.
Then Proverbs 23: 19 said, "Listen, my son and be wise and keep your heart on the right path." then verse 26 said, "My son, give your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways." Then 4: 23 said, "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." We need keep our hear on the right path, it stands for walking in God's path, guard our hearts are the important lives which bring freedom, refreshment and abundant. Praise the Lord.
(10) Keep and guard my teaching.
In Proverbs 5: 1-2 said, "My son, pay attention to my wisdom; listen well to my words of insight that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge. and verse 7 said, "Not then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from I say." Then 7: 1-2 said, "My son, keep my words and stir up my commands within you. Keep my commands and your will live guard my teachings as the apple of your eye."
We need to pay attention of God's wisdom, listen well to His words of insight, so that our lips may preserve college (knowing God well). We do not turn aside from God has said, but keep his words which are guard God's teaching as the apple of our eye. It means that guard God's teaching and his words are very important for our lives and follow them as our final.
(11) Restore relationship.
In Malachi 4: 6 said, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers or else I will come and strike the land with a curse. (it promises that broken relationships are being fixed.)"
We have a broken relationship with our families. If we have broken relationship with our Heavenly Father, we need to confess our sins and repent what we are doing. And turn around to a direction of God. Then we need to forgive your parents and reconcile with them. God will not bring strike or curse in the land.
We thank to our Father who guards our hearts with His words, keep and guard his teaching and act it. Then He restore our relationship to Himself and others.
Tomorrow we will continue to talk this topic: Father's Heart. Thank you and see you!
Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
