Read: Psalm 51: 10-12; 14-15
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and great me a willing Spirit to sustain me.
Psalm 51: 12
We will continue to talk principles of anointing in the heart of worship as below:
(5) Grant a willing spirit is within Joy of our salvation.
In Psalm 51; 10-12 said, "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast Spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence, or take you Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and great me a willing Spirit to sustain me." David committed adultery with Bathsheba and killed her husband Uriah. Then Prephet Nathan rebukes David. and then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." (2 Samuel 12: 13)
David asked God to create in him a pure heart, take his sins and guilt away, then renews a steadfast (never fail) Spirit within him. He prayed to God, not take God's Holy Spirit from him, and he wanted to stay in the presence of God. Because of sins, he begged God to restore him with joy of his salvation and grant (get) him a willing Spirit to sustain me. The true worshiper wants to have a willing (free) Spirit to help or hold him in this time.
(6) Sing Praise for God has done. (V 14-15)
" Save me from blood guilt, O God, the God who saves me, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips and my mouth will declare your praise." David asked God to save him from blood guilt, it means to forgive his sins. He has confident in God, God will be done what he has said. (Isaiah 55: 11) So his tongue will sing of righteous of God, God opened David's lips and his mouth will declare Glory of God for praise.
God has done many things for us, do we sing praise for He has done. And we count our blessing, then we realize that God has done many mighty things in our lives. Praise the Lord! After joy is surely coming.
A worshiper knows how to praise the Lord for what he has done!
